Read This: Beck Plus God Does Not Equal X | Politics | Religion Dispatches

I'm very late in commenting on the competing rallies held in Washington on the anniversary of Dr. King's historic "I Have a Dream" speech and that sucks ass, so I'm sorry.

But hell, I need to say something and the Tea Party movement is still out there and even though this particular event has come and gone, this still matters.

There is a very good article on the issues of race and faith as they relate to the rhetoric of Glenn Beck.

My first comment on the article is this. Butler is right about the absurdity of comparing Beck to Malcolm X.

Not because of their opposing ideologies, but because they are not anywhere close to being in the same league.

Brother Malcolm was a goddamn hero.

He was one of the great minds of the 20th century and comparing ANYBODY to him is a leap and there are very few people alive that are worthy of such a parallel.

And to compare someone like Glenn Beck to him is just fucking dumb.

Okay, let's move on.

I don't believe every single person who follows Beck or watches Fox News or goes to Tea Party rallies is racist or stupid. Let's just get that out of the way up front.

People believe what they do for a wide array of reasons.

There are plenty of Tea-party-people who are simply life-long conservatives, or truly believe they have to go out and protest to protect capitalism as if it were in danger.

Having said that, conservatives who keep insisting there is no racism in the Tea Party movement are either in denial or they're lying.

On its face, the rally in Washington might seem innocent enough.

But given the subtext of the debate of whether or not the Tea Party movement is inherently racist, the act of holding a "Restoring Honor" rally on the anniversary of MLK's "Dream" speech in the spot where he spoke WAS an intentional "Fuck You!" to Black America.

It can't be interpreted any other way.

If one were to be extremely generous and give Glenn Beck the extraordinary benefit of the doubt which he hasn't earned, the rally was at the very least a deliberate "Fuck You!" to the NAACP.

But forget Glenn Beck for a minute.

Right now, I'm talking to those in the Tea Party who are genuine in their principles.

I'm speaking to those of you who are conservatives and go to these rallies for ideological reasons alone, not for the adrenaline rush being part of a mob gives you.

Stop ignoring the racist signs. Stop pretending these guys are on the fringe. They represent a significant segment of your movement and you can't just close your eyes and hope we don't notice them.

When they are pointed out, you can't say the "liberal" media is singling you out and picking on you.

Stop faking that innocent, wide-eyed look when the NAACP tells you that you have blatant racism within your ranks and saying, "What the hell are you talking about?"

It makes you look stupid because you know what we're talking about.

I've talked to Tea Party people who have told me point blank that the "N" word has NEVER been used at a rally.

Really? Never?

We see the signs at every Tea Party event.

Let's turn back the clock for some perspective.

When we protested Bush, we were unpatriotic. We hated America.

And when we assembled, we were arrested en-masse.

You have people coming out, literally talking and acting like the Klan and look the other way.

You deny that they're there.
When your people make violent threats, you brush them off.

Just a few years ago, you were screaming for the heads of any actor or Dixie Chick who dared question the leader of our great nation because doing so was unpatriotic.

We were seeped in yellow-ribbon McCarthyism.

Don't get me wrong, it's not your protests themselves I have a problem with. It's okay for you to hate Obama, or any leader for that matter.

As a Socialist, I am not happy with our President either because he's a rabid capitalist who's expanding free trade and dragging out both of the wars we're in.

I could list a few more reasons, but that would be getting off point. Let's just say that, like many leftists, I do not consider him a liberal.

But coming from the same assholes who, less than two years ago were telling us that if we love America, we couldn't criticize the President, is disingenuous.

Imagine the uproar if a country music group came out and criticized Obama and as a result was pulled off of every radio station in the country.

My point is, you and your protests, by contrast are being treated with a lot of dignity compared to what we went through for eight years.

You guys have no idea how easy you have it.

I'm getting off topic again, aren't I? Sorry, it's late.

Back to acknowledging and denouncing the racists in your ranks.

I mean, they can't even come up with newer material than "Go back to Africa?" At least be original.

Jesus.
If you want us to take you seriously as a populist movement, at the very least admit that there are dissenting voices in your ranks and that a chunk of the people who show up might be racists.

Then denounce them.

Until then, mainstream America is going to keep on thinking you're fucking idiots.

Lower Standards, Less Freedom

"There should be no mosque near Ground Zero in New York so long as there are no churches or synagogues in Saudi Arabia." - Newt Gingrich

No, Newt, you fucking idiot.

See, here's the problem. You and those who think like you seem to think it's good enough for America to be as free as countries like Saudia Arabia.

Fuck you.

That's not good enough.

Our standards are higher than that.

We believe in absolute freedom of religion and if you want to lower our standards to the level so that we are on an equal plane to countries like Saudi Arabia as far as our freedoms go, then thank Christ you no longer have any power.

Dr. Laura - Racist, Not Martyr

When Jade called Dr. Laura, she was asking for advice how, as a black woman, she could handle repeated racist comments from her white husband’s friends. When Dr. Laura concluded, 46 seconds into the call, that her husband’s friends were not racists, the nature of the call quickly turned from that of a woman asking for help to a debate about racial sensitivity.

Less than a minute later, in making a philosophical point, Dr. Laura was repeatedly using the ‘N’ word before abruptly going to break.

After the commercial break, Dr. Laura used the racial slur several more times, accused Jade of having a chip on her shoulder when she said she did not appreciate hearing the word and abruptly ended the call all in under two minutes.

After disconnecting, Dr. Laura indicated that if Jade did not like hearing white people say the ‘N’ word and was not going to have a sense of humor about racism, she should not have married outside of her race.

The call has created an outcry across the country, not only about the racial slur but about the ideas that Dr. Laura expressed along with them. At one point, she said that, “blacks voted for Obama simply 'cause he was half-black. Didn't matter what he was gonna do in office, it was a black thing.”

Also disturbing was the implication that any black person who was offended by racial slurs was too sensitive and that the caller should not have married a white man.

After coming under intense fire, Dr. Laura posted an apology on her website.

Civil rights leader Al Sharpton, however, isn’t buying it. He claimed that her rant would have been offensive even without the racial slurs and that she did not apologize until there was a public outcry.

“Not only the caller was right that she said the word over and over and in a very animated way, I might add, but that she actually, if you listen carefully to the logic of what she was saying was saying that the n-word was not offensive,” said Sharpton during an interview with CNN’s Anderson Cooper. “Her first reaction was that people use the n-word all along and you are being too sensitive or something to that effect, and at no point until after the outrage that followed did she come back today and say it was wrong."

More than 9 million Americans listen to Dr. Laura’s show every week.

The media was waaaay to easy on Dr. Laura on this one, even though she's acting like a martyr.

Here's the thing that nobody seems to pointing out, though Reverend Sharpton touched on it.

The n-word wasn't the worst of Dr. Laura's offenses here. In fact, it wasn't even the most racist thing to come out of her mouth.

The attitudes behind her rant were far worse than the word itself. Particularly the part about how Jade shouldn't have married a white guy if she wasn't going to have a sense of humor about racism.

I am sad that Dr. Laura is running off and quitting her radio show, though. I like people like her out in the open where we can see them, not lurking in the shadows.

So nobody really called her on her shit and she gets to go off and pretend she's a free-speech martyr. It's a goddamn pity all around.

But let's be clear. Let's put the n-word aside and pretend she never said it. Dr. Laura is not being chased off the airwaves, in fact, I would love to have her stay on.

And let's be clear on something else. Yes, there's room for disagreement and debate, even about the use of the n-word and all kinds of race-related issues. But Dr. Laura is not a voice of dissent. She is a racist.

Just to be clear.

Stop Throwing Around The Word "Freedom" If You Don't Understand It

I don't have a whole lot to add to the argument about the flap about the Islamic Cultural Center they want to build a couple of blocks from the World Trade Center site.

Just a couple of things.

How far away do you want this thing? Eight blocks? A couple of miles?

Are you actually suggesting we start zoning religious sites?

Yes, the people who attacked us on 9/11 were Muslims.

And on April 19, 1995, in Oklahoma City, we were attacked by white Christians. So let's agree, no Protestant churches within two blocks of the Murrow Building?

Fuck, Scott Roeder gave his life to Jesus on his knees in front of the TV because Pat Robertson told him to. How about we not allow the 700 Club to be broadcast in the Wichita area?

Let's go all the way. Anywhere there are victims of religious violence, let's pick a radius and ban that religion out of respect for the dead.

Maybe if the same people who were saying "Let them build the Islamic Center farther away," weren't also protesting the erection of Mosques in Tennessee, Wisconsin, California and, well, anywhere in America, they wouldn't sound so goddamn silly.

So please stop saying that the terrorists hate our freedom. Because you have already given them that.

You throw the word "freedom" around, but you either do not believe in it or you just don't understand it.

Either way, when you say it, it sounds hollow and I don't believe you.

Make that Change

The political center of America has been moving decidedly to the right for decades.

Actual liberals have been all-but banished from the Democratic Party.

Ask yourself, do we have any heroes in America like Marek Edelman, who left us this past October? Uncompromising and fierce, even in the face of death, even in the face of the scorn of his countrymen and allies?

The Democrats will not get their shit together on issues like marriage equality or reproductive rights and they have caved on every economic issue there is.

The Clinton 90's heralded an era of Democratic Reaganomics.

The Democrats are now on the wrong side on the death penalty, the war on crime, the war on drugs, and more or less every other aspect of both our foreign and domestic policy.

Gains are small and usually immediately taken away. Resistance is met with either scorn, or muscle.

We, the left, caught a great deal of grief from the Democratic Party when we dared to refuse to support Gore and Lieberman who might as well be Republicans.

I’m sorry, but you can’t move that far to the right and then complain that the left has abandoned you.

And anyone who has spoken out in the last eight years, from Ward Churchill to Bill Maher to the Dixie Chicks can tell you what it’s like be responded to with simple, brutal, unmoving force.

And now, we are at a crossroads. Did we really mean what we said when we voted for change, or are we just jerking off?

Are we pissed off enough about this recession to demand that the people we just put into office reverse the past 28 years of systematic deregulation that led to this whole mess?
The hubris of the last eight years, the prioritizing of power over party, and party over country has imploded the Republican Party and we have been given a magnificent opportunity. It would be a crime to waste it. But the Democrats have indeed wasted the opportunity.

They could not get meaningful health care for all Americans even with a Super-majority in both houses. You know why? Because they didn't fucking try!

They talked of bi-partisanship as if it were the primary virtue for any politician. As if making friends with the enemy were more important than principle.

They've put Blackwater into Pakistan for Christ's sake!

No more. I've come to a crucial decision. When you choose between the lesser of two evils, you are still choosing evil.

Go ahead and tell me I'm throwing my vote away.

But from now on, every vote will go to a Socialist, Green or Independent candidate.

I used to think the Democrats' problem was weakness. Now I see that it's a lack of conviction.

And for the record, to you, the Democratic Party, you left us. Adieu.

Les Chats Persians - Bahman Qobadi (2009)

Qobadi's masterpiece out of Iran doesn't just embody what's great about independent film. It represents everything good in rock and roll.

Hell, I'll go you one better. Les Chats makes a statement about the function of art in general.

That function? Rebellion.

The connection this film makes between political uprising and art isn't a new concept, but Qobadi makes his argument with an eloquent rage I don't think I've ever seen.

Maybe that's because we have the luxury of taking for granted this concept of living in a relatively free country.

The films quieter moments are just as powerful as its raucous, sometimes gleefully angry musical interludes.

One of the most memorable is a scene where one character, mostly obscured by a door, begs for mercy from a harsh judge.

The underground Iranian filmmaker rails against government and religion for just under 2 hours.

It's eerie that the film won the Special Jury Prize at the Cannes Film Festival just weeks before the now notorious riots following the disputed (stolen) Iranian elections. In retrospect, the film feels prophetical.

Qobadi is filled with fury at how his government treats his people. In an interview, he railed against the treatment of women as 'the voice against God.'

The film, as angry as it will make you does have its share of humor and that is what makes now exhiled Qobadi a gift.

The cinema community embraces him and every one of you should desperately seek this film out.

Zhou Juan has won the Chinese Music Golden Bell Award which I looked up and is kind of a big deal.

Aside from that, if you go to her website, her music is incredibly cool.

Fighting for Freedom

Support the troops.

I’m not going into a rant about what supporting the troops does and doesn’t mean. That debate has been rehashed so many times, I’m not going to say anything new. It’s a tired argument.

You’re going to say that I can’t support the troops if I’m against the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan.

And then I'll say that your idea of supporting the troops is a hollow joke. It takes more than a bumper sticker and standing up for a Lee Greenwood song at a monster truck rally.

On that argument, we are at an impasse.

I’m talking about the whining I hear on a regular basis regarding the media. There is a deep resentment towards the media for ‘getting into our business’ that I’ve been hearing from people in the military.

The sentiment seems to be that we should shut the hell up and just let the army do its job.

No.

I’m going to get into why my answer to that is an absolute, unequivocal ‘no’ in a second, but first, let me clear up a couple of things.

When we talk about our troops, we always hear about how they’re fighting for our freedom, or protecting our freedom. That’s a notion that I’m not sure I’ve ever heard questioned.

But it’s just not true.

That isn’t the function of our armed forces. Their function is to keep America strong, not free.

A strong military is hardly unique and there are plenty of governments and countries and empires now and throughout history who have had strong armed forces yet had no freedom.

China, the former Soviet Union, the Third Reich, and we could go on and on through the mightiest military forces in history. If a strong military was the key to freedom and democracy, these societies would be the models of what we should pattern our Republic after.

No, the difference is the free exchange of ideas.

The media.

Because these powers, with all their military might, controlled the flow of information.

They had state-run outlets for information that the government wanted the public to hear. There was no transparency and no accountability because there was no free press to ‘get into the military and the government’s business.’

That is our job. The media holds the military and the government and corporate America accountable.

We have, these past years been failing miserably, but that is a different post.

And that transparency, not military strength is the difference between a totalitarian state and a free country.

You are the ones fighting for our safety and strength.

We are the ones fighting for our freedom.

Very Pathetic

Getting up this morning was one of the saddest moments of my life up to this point.

My least favorite part of that first sentence there was 'up to this point' because I am certain there is worse to come.

For those of you who did not know, any that would be most of you, since why the hell would most of you know, my back is out. I am having a hard time bending and moving and the pain is really bad.

This morning, when I woke up, I scooched (Spell-check is telling me that scooched isn't a word. Fuck you, spell-check.) down to the bottom of the bed and managed to drag my jeans to me with my feet.

I successfully got my feet into them and then yelled for Joia to come help me since bending over and pulling them up really isn't an option. She's been helping me out with this for the past few days. She's what we would call a real trooper. (Side note: since this blog gets imported to FaceBook and that's where a lot of you read it, hop over to Joia's page and tell her what a trooper she is. She has just been awesome. I keep getting off on tangents. Did I mention that the back thing comes with pain pills & muscle relaxers? Wait, am I doing a blog about the death penalty and how horrible Rick Perry is or how much I hate the Pope? Oh, pathetic waking up moment. I went back and read the beginning. I need an end parenthesis at some point. Here.)

New paragraph.

Sitting at the bottom of the bed, jeans around my ankles, calling for Joia. I thought I heard her answer, but faintly. After a couple of minutes, I roll back and kind of shimmy them up and, it takes a while, but success! I am no longer pantsless and (Spell-check is saying that pantsless isn't a word, what the fuck?! Spell-check is a fascist. It is worse than Satan though not as bad as Hitler or Rumsfeld. How many times do I have to tell spell-check to go fuck itself in one post?) and can roam freely about the house because I have pants.

I know that for all the ladies in the world, this is devastating news, but yes, I am currently wearing pants.

Well, the family is all gone. I still don't know where they are. Errands or something.

Anyway, that scooching (Scooching is too a word, spell-check! God, I hate you so much, acting like you're the boss of me! I'll use whatever words I want! Stop stifling me you bastard! AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!) Sorry everybody, I know that you hate it when I fight with the computer in front of you.

But seriously, never trust a computer and the cake is a lie.

The shimmying of the pants was a very sad and pathetic 90 seconds and I just thought I'd share it.

Remind me to share another anecdote involving not being able to bend over to lift the toilet seat.

And, if anyone cares, I'm listening to:

For those of you who were disappointed, stick it back in and let it play five or six more times. It is definitely a departure, but this is an amazing record. Trust me, I have never steered you wrong.

Then again, I should remind you that right now, I am lit up like a Christmas tree. I'm going to take another pill now.

Swinging Both Ways

Here's my question.
If an adviser should step down for calling his opponents assholes, should a Vice President step down for telling an opponent to go fuck himself?
Come on.  If we're gonna swing it, let's swing it both ways.

Hippo-critter.  Hippo-critter.  Say one thing and do the oppo-sitter.

Yeah, I'm real mature.  But please enjoy this picture of a hippopotamus.

But seriously, when did we turn into a nation of pussies?

All joking aside, if you disagree with me politically, please feel free to call me an asshole.  Or tell me to go fuck myself.

If for no other reason than to give me an opportunity to illustrate that I have thicker skin than these people with their pretend, manufactured outrage who demanded the resignation of Van Jones.

And, if you're wondering, I'm listening to:

Van Jones: A Chilling Resignation And A Terrifying Message To Our Children

As you may have heard, Van Jones, a very dangerous guy with a potty mouth and a mistrust of the federal government has resigned due to his potty mouth and mistrust of the federal government.

For a society that preaches freedom of speech, we seem to be fond of tossing out people who say things we don't like and tossing them out but quick.

First, Jones signed the Petition to the Senate to Investigate Oddities Involving 9/11 Terrorist Attacks on 911truth.org which, for those of you who aren't familiar, is basically a conspiracy theorist site focused on the 911 attacks.

Kind of like alt-dot-black-dot-helicopters-dot-com.  Thank you, Dale Gribble.

Then, Jones referred to Republicans as 'assholes.'  And for this, he had to turn in his resignation.

You're bent out of shape because Jones referred to Republicans 'assholes?'  Are you kidding me?

Aren't you guys the tough ones?  The cowboys?

Aren't you the ones who'll keep us safe from the wolves like in the ads leading up to the 2004 Presidential election?  You guys are the ones who have the balls to protect us from the terrorists, right?

But being called an asshole makes you cry?

Jesus.

Are we going to use the same standard across the board?

How about the comments from Lynn Jenkins in August?  Addressing a crowd of Republicans in Topeka, she said, "Republicans are struggling right now to find the great white hope.  I suggest to any of you who are concerned about that, there are some great young Republican minds in Washington."

Just a side-note, congresswoman, you really need to fire whoever on your staff is in charge of letting you leave your house with that haircut.  Seriously, are you sharing an apartment with Laverne?

We elect the first black President and less than a year later, white congresspeople are rushing out to assure their constituents that they don't have to worry because America will be white again very soon.  This isn't underhanded or implied racism.  Rep. Jenkins showed herself to be an apologist for the use of racial tension as a political tactic.

I'm fairly certain she named her shower-head 'Jesse Helms.'  (Yes, big Jesse, there, there!  I can feel your flabby jowls on my thighs!  Slap that jowl & ram my wobbly leg fat!)

Okay, that was admittedly uncalled for.  But is it really that much of a leap from race-baiter to masturbator?

Wait, what was I talking about?

Oh, right.  Lynn Jenkins assuring a Topeka crowd that they'd find the great white hope.

This is way more insulting than 'asshole.'  It seems that over the course of the last few years, racist language has lost its subtlety.

But I don't want the good Congresswoman to resign, no matter how big of a silly twat she is.  I want her there, in Congress, present and exposed for the kind of person that she is.

But hypocrisy in politics isn't really what I want to talk about.  It is common and to be honest, like most of us, I'm more or less desensitized to it, kinda like violence in video games and splatter movies.  So the whole 'it's okay when we do it but we'll throw a fit when you do it' isn't that big of a deal to me and let's be honest, our side does it, too.

What disturbs me about the Van Jones business was made clear in a flippant joke that the President made yesterday during a Q & A session with students in Arlington, Va.
This is one of the things that Obama had to say: "Be careful what you post on the web on places like Facebook because it never goes away and you too could be famous someday."

When I heard that, a chill ran down my spine.

This is the lesson our children are going to walk away with.  Be careful what you say.

Don't let your opinions be known because you may be punished for your beliefs later.

If you stand up for what you believe in, it may haunt you later, so it's best if you keep quiet.

It is nothing more than an intimidating stifling of free ideas and speech.

I want my children to live in a country where they can think and speak freely with impunity.

I want them to believe what they will and I want them to follow their convictions.

I want them to speak out with the fear that they may be punished for their ideology.

It infuriates me that school children are being told, "Be careful what you post on the web on places like Facebook because it never goes away and you too could be famous someday."

And if you are among those who called for or celebrated the resignation of Van Jones, all I can say is please stop saying things like, "the terrorists hate our freedom."

In fact, please stop talking about freedom altogether.

Because it is more than clear that you neither understand or value it.

And, in case you care, I'm listening to:

Heroes Are A Rare Commodity These Days

I've been thinking a lot about heroes lately and last night I watched a film called By Dawn's Early Light: Chris Jackson's Journey To Islam.

It's a film about how Jackson, a kid with Tourette Syndrome clawed his way out of poverty and went to LSU to become one of the greatest NCAA players of all time.

He was then quickly drafted into the NBA where he continued to astonish both media and fans.

After converting to Islam and changing his name to Mahmoud Abdul-Rauf, he declined to stand for the national anthem before games.

He was not showy. This was not a loud protest.

He respected the fact that the flag did have meaning for most Americans and he wasn't going to try to fly in the face of that. He wasn't on a mission to make a statement.

He just hung back in the hallway between the locker room and the court.

He was so discreet that it took like a year and a half for somebody to notice.

And when they did, was there ever a hissy-fit.

He was suspended indefinitely and America threw a fit. He must hate America.

In a country where one of the ideals we hold dear is the notion that we can't be forced to compromise our religious beliefs, I found it disturbing that nobody stepped back and asked a vital question.

Is it possible that one's religion might forbid standing for an anthem or a pledge or a flag?

Could that be somewhere in the Qur'an?

Could it be a principle found in other religions?

What about Christianity? Should Christians stand for the national anthem? Should Christians pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America?

Is it possible that there are portions of the Bible that could easily be interpreted this way? That a servant of God pledges allegiance to no one but God?

When we get to the other side there are three guys we might be able to ask about that.

Shadrach.

Meshach.

Abednego.

So, what happened to Mahmoud Abdul-Rauf?

After four games, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and Hakeem Olajuwon, two fellow Muslim NBA players, spoke with him and convinced him to compromise.

Abdul-Raul would stand before each game, cover his face and pray.

You would think that the hatchet would have been buried at that point.

No.

Abdul-Rauf was traded to the Sacramento Kings where he was essentially benched.

He still kicked ass.

He led the league in points scored per minute, so when they let him on the court, he was still one of the best players in the country.

But when our indignation is wrapped up in the flag we can't see anything beyond that.

The flag blinds us so we don't even ask whether or not this young man's religious objection had any merit.

The flag blinds us to the point where we would rather bench one of the few players in the NBA who ranked up there with Jordan than let someone we dubbed "Un-American" have the ball.

McCarthyism never left. It just quieted down for a while.

The most tragic thing in all this is the lesson that America took from this.

That lesson is: Stand up for what you believe in only if I like what you say.

This is why heroes are so rare.

Courage and moral stands are punished and I don't take any pleasure in saying it, but that makes for a very shameful society.

See You Next Tuesday: A Woman You Have To Meet To Believe

Again the usual disclaimer, I will fight tooth and nail any attempts to ban these fucktards from assembling anywhere, anytime, including funerals. Not only is it bad taste, but their presence causes very real pain to grieving families. But free speech is absolute and as much as we hate someone and want to shut them up, we have to resist that urge. We don't want to, but if we want a free country, we have no other choice. Now that that is out of the way, I want to tell you about this cunt I know of. On the one hand, I've had just about enough of this twat. On the other hand, she does make the opposition look really, really bad, so I'm kind torn. I mean what the hell could she possibly have against Isaac Hayes? He was like the smoothest motherfucker who ever lived. I spent a day as his driver when he opened up a club in Chicago. Sat at the bar for both of his sets. It was one of my favorite days. This is the woman who Sean Hannity, a Falwell apologist told this vituperator and shrew that she was

"as mean and as sick and as cruel as anybody that I've ever had on this program"
Again, this was a guy who repeatedly stuck up for Falwell for God's sake. So Once again, Phuck you, Phelps Phamily. Phuck your church. Fuck your God. Because your God does not exist. And fuck you. And I'm pretty sure that the man himself feels the same way I do.

Phuck Phelps

Fred Phelps. For the record, attempts to shut you up, well-intentioned as they may be are misguided. Free Speech is a rare absolute. NOBODY SHOULD BE FORCED TO BE QUIET UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES. So now that that's out of the way...

Fuck you.

Fuck your church.

Fuck your family.

Fuck your god.

If God does in fact exist, I'm fairly certain that you're going to spend eternity in Hell being sodomized by Satan himself. And I hear he has a very pointy cock, like a spearhead. Have fucking fun with that, you dickless, cunting piece of shit.
